Yesterday our children took part in the first NELT athletics festival at Gateshead Stadium, where all North East Learning Trust schools came together for a brilliant day of sports, fun and positivity.
The morning began with a lovely opening ceremony where our pupils paraded our school flag with pride, before competing in a range of activities from javelin and skipping to long jump and relay. The whole day was brilliant from start to finish, as our children made new friends across the Trust and cheered on their teammates. We even brought home some medals!

Noah G - 80m skip
Katelyn S - Turbo Javelin

Emily B - 80m 2nd, howler
Jack F - standing long jump
Lucas W - 200m race
Layla J - standing long jump

Caleb, Noah, Tyler and Joseph - Year 3/4 boys' relay
Emily, Floraidh, Milly and Charlotte - Year 3/4 girls' relay
