Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a great day out to the Hay Meadows to investigate different species of wild plants. The children ticked lots of varieties off their checklists before splitting into groups to survey the land.
Using quadrants, the groups selected samples of the land and were able to catch some mini beasts and examine them. The children channeled their creativity and drew the landscape with pastels before finishing their day with a game of 'pollination'. What a great day!
