Last week Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a trip back in time when they visited Beamish Museum! During the visit, the group experienced an infant classroom from Victorian times, complete with slate and chalk in place of the paper they are used.
The class then visited the 1900s town where they explored the dentist, sweetshop and bakery! The final stop of the day was the 1950s town where our pupils danced to music from a jukebox, visited the hairdressers and went to the fish and chip shop.
